A few good questions.

Is PDFmate really private?

Yes. Your images, text and PDFs are processed in this browser. There is no document upload endpoint, account or cloud document history. Hosting still receives ordinary requests for the website itself.

Can I use it on my phone?

Absolutely. Preview your document in the centre, open pages and settings in touch-friendly sheets, and keep the export button within reach. Smaller batches work best on phones.

Is it free?

Yes. All the tools here are free, with no sign-up or watermarks added by PDFmate.

What happens when I close the tab?

The active workspace is held in browser memory. Closing the tab or refreshing discards it. Files you choose to download stay in your Downloads folder.

Can I edit the words in an existing PDF?

PDFmate creates new documents and organises existing pages. It does not edit the text already inside a PDF, perform OCR, or certify digital signatures.

Less paperwork.
More possibility.
