No document uploads.

Images, PDFs, text and signature drawings are processed in your browser. None of our tools sends document contents to a server. PDF creation and manipulation run in browser workers, and the PDF renderer and fonts are served from this website. There are no external AI services, conversion APIs or cloud storage connections.

A workspace, not a history.

Files and previews are held in memory for the active tab. We do not save documents in LocalStorage, IndexedDB, a database or a service-worker cache. Clear the workspace, refresh, or close the tab to discard the active work. Browser and operating-system memory management is outside our control, so this is not a promise of forensic secure erasure.

Files you explicitly download remain in your device’s Downloads folder until you remove them. Your original files are never modified.

No account. No tracking of contents.

There is no login and no document history. PDFmate does not install analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and does not send filenames, text, images or document metadata to us.

The website still needs hosting.

Vercel delivers the app’s code and public assets. Ordinary requests for these website files can include your IP address, browser information, requested route and technical logs. Your documents are not part of those requests. Your browser may cache public app assets, such as fonts and code, so the website loads faster.

External links are your choice.

Links to other MJ Apps tools open their own websites. Each tool has its own privacy explanation. Opening a link does not pass your PDFmate workspace to it.

Practical limits, honestly.

Working locally depends on the memory available on your device. We limit individual files to 25 MB, workspaces to 100 MB and 120 pages, and decoded images to 32 megapixels. Small batches are best on phones. Password-protected files must be unlocked elsewhere before use.
